Claude
CHAT AI • WRITING • NO IMAGE GENERATIONAn excellent writer in a chat window. It makes no photos or illustrations, edits no footage and posts nothing, so the visuals, the edit and the scheduling are still yours to assemble.
$20/mo (Pro)People make content with Claude plus a stack of plugins. Here is what that stack takes, next to one app that does the whole job.
Claude is a general chat AI with a strong name for writing. It drafts captions, scripts, hooks and post ideas well. Its own help center says it does not generate photos or illustrations the way image tools do; it can draw charts and diagrams. Plans run from $0, through Pro at $20 a month ($17 a month billed yearly), to Max from $100 a month.
VEXI (formerly Social Realtr) is an AI content studio that runs social media for entrepreneurs and creators. You describe what you want and it makes the posts, videos, designs and captions, then schedules and publishes them. Plans start at $199 a month, and every plan starts with a 15-day trial.
The difference is what happens after the words. With a chat AI you copy the text out, film or find the footage, cut it in an editor, add music and captions, pull stock clips, then load it all into a scheduler, or wire in plugins to do some of that. You are the one stitching it together. VEXI is service as software: you ask once, and the post comes back written, designed, edited and scheduled. VEXI costs more than Claude: plans are $199, $399 or $599 a month. What you pay for is the work you no longer do.
Claude does not generate photos or illustrations, so every image for a post comes from another app or a stock library.
VEXI designs the post with your logo, colors, fonts and voice. Tap anything on the design to change it.
Claude writes the script. Cutting your footage, adding B-roll, music and captions, and exporting all happen in an editor you bring.
VEXI edits the video for you: cuts, B-roll, music and captions. How deep the edit goes depends on your plan's mode, and anything you ask for wins.
Claude's plans list no posting or scheduling to your social accounts. Connecting a scheduler means another app, set up and paid for on the side.
VEXI schedules and posts to your connected accounts itself.
Claude's Trustpilot profile is rated 1.5. Some reviewers report billing disputes stuck with an automated bot and plan limits that run out quickly.

$20/mo (Pro)One app: you ask, and it writes, designs, edits the video and posts it. Autopilot runs your week ahead.

Priced monthly: Claude Pro $20 for the words, Canva Pro $18 for the visuals, Zapier Pro $29.99 to connect the apps, CapCut Pro $19.99 for the edit and Buffer $15 to schedule comes to about $103 a month across five subscriptions. That is cheaper than VEXI. What you pay VEXI for is the work in between: the prompts, the files, the edit and the posting.
As a subscription, yes: Claude Pro is $20 a month. Add the image app, the video editor, the scheduler and your hours, and the comparison changes. VEXI puts the making and the posting in one plan.
