Homesnap is gone. Acquired by CoStar Group for $250 million in 2020, merged with Homes.com in late 2022 (cutting about 100 jobs), then retired as a brand in 2023. Agents who used Homesnap were moved to Homes.com's Homes Pro app. The product is no longer actively developed, and the features that did survive are buried inside the Homes.com ecosystem.

VEXI (formerly Social Realtr) is an AI content studio that runs social media for entrepreneurs and creators. You describe what you want and it makes the posts, videos, designs and captions, then schedules and publishes them. Plans start at $199 a month, and every plan starts with a 15-day trial.

WHY PEOPLE SWITCH

What Homesnap leaves you doing.

  • Product Sunsetted

CoStar merged Homesnap into Homes.com in 2022. No new features, no roadmap, no standalone product.

  • No Content Creation

Homesnap let you share listings and run ads, but never created a single graphic, video, or caption for you.

VEXI makes content in your brand.

  • No Video Editing

Homesnap Stories added stickers to listing clips. That is not video editing. No professional short-form video production.

VEXI edits your raw footage into polished, ready-to-post videos.

  • 2.6-Star Trustpilot Rating

Rated “Poor” on Trustpilot. Complaints about billing, dead leads, and impossible cancellations.

    No contracts. Cancel anytime.

  • Limited Platforms

Homesnap only supported Facebook and Instagram ads. No organic posting to LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, or X.
